Situated on the border of Lesotho and South Africa just outside Fouriesburg at the Caledonspoort Border.

Facing the spectacular sandstone hill with the outcrop shaped as a camel’s head (giving it it’s name) is this tranquil farm with glorious views of the Maluti Mountains. Camelroc is situated between the two Caledon rivers and is close to Caledonspoort border post.

Camelroc can definately be recommended as a good base from which to explore the Eastern Free State as well as Lesotho.

  Visited in 2017. Spectacular location with wonderful hiking and breathtaking views. My favourite part of the visiting South Africa. Nice place to stay. We didn't realize that it was suite and not a B&B but quick drive to Fouriesburg solved the food problem. If not an outdoors person probably not your place.

  We stayed over at Camelroc on 24 September 2023. Our hosts made us feel completely at home. We thoroughly enjoyed the "farm-feeling". Wide open spaces, two dogs playfully running around and even the cat came to say "hello" . The accommodation, bathroom and dining room - all neat and tidy. Definitely your "home" away from home! Thank you so much for a lovely stay! We will definitely see you again!

  I had a fantastic stay at Camel Roc Guest Farm! This peaceful and picturesque self-catering location was a true gem. Surrounded by lush greenery, it provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and adventure.
