Welcome to our farm house

The farmhouse at Camelroc Guest Farm in Fouriesburg is a classic sandstone home, typical of the Eastern Free State’s rural architecture. Built with thick sandstone walls and a green roof, the house carries the charm of a traditional farmstead that has gradually grown and adapted over the years. Its warm, timeless character is anchored by original wooden floors, spacious living areas, and a simple yet welcoming design that speaks to its agricultural roots and heritage.

Inside, guests can relax in a comfortable lounge with leather seating, enjoy meals in the homely breakfast and dining area, or gather for a friendly game at the indoor ping pong table. Outside, the house opens onto a pool area with views of the surrounding Rooiberge and Maluti Mountains, the perfect place to unwind in the Free State sunshine. This farmhouse offers a balance of history and hospitality, blending old-world charm with the leisure comforts of a countryside escape.

A stone house with a green metal roof, large windows with curtains, and a small garden outside under a blue sky with a mountain in the background.
