Nestled in the Rooiberge mountains of the Eastern Free State, it’s the perfect quiet escape for travellers seeking fresh air, wide views, and peaceful farm living. The farm offers more than just a place to stay. With multiple hiking trails, mountain biking routes, and a groomed 4x4 track, Camelroc is a base for outdoor adventure in the Maluti Mountain region. Our story

Turning Camelroc into what it is today was a labour of love. From a simple farmhouse to a haven for guests and adventure lovers, it’s been quite the journey. And it all started with a leap of faith back in 1997.
